The week starts with a Grand Opening event at Hollands Park . Further events throughout the week include\, a Raft Race\, Parade Night\ , Wheelbarrow Race\, Car Show and Fireworks display. There are also other events including Live Music and fun for all the family.

The main p arade is always on the second Wednesday of August and is an evening of exc itement and fun\, attracting thousands of onlookers and featuring a proces sion of colourful and imaginative floats\, varying in size\, theme and his tory some\, like the “Uncle Tom Cobley”\,which has been entered into the p arade since 1911

Towards the end of the week the bay is lit up wit h a fabulous firework display over the bay on the friday evening and is ro unded off with the Static Motor Show on the saturday morning.
