Adderstable Woods

This Project commenced, and as a first step, ensured CMPC registered ownership of Adderstable Woods. An extensive and well researched programme of work was laid out, which sadly, is currently on hold, following the death of Peter Wilkinson. CMCCT hope to find individuals to recommence the project.

Description & rationale

Adderstable woods needs work to enhance tree health, to improve footpaths, identify and enhance flora and fauna. This will provide an attractive resource for locals and visitors. Timber management and sensitive extraction will extend the life of Adderstable wood and provide an income.

What it will deliver

Management of wood, enhancement of facilities for locals and visitors therein.

£2,000 pump priming, thereafter self-financing
