New Tourist Attraction

A Working Group examined a range of ideas, and the possibilities of funding. Each idea suggested above was examined and unfortunately, for a range of reasons, were found to be unsuitable or unachievable currently. This Project is currently on hold, awaiting further ideas/resources.

Description & rationale

Extensive public consultation has identified the view that Combe Martin, in addition to its natural assets and facilities (including existing attractions and holiday camps) needs a further attraction. A working party will be established to pursue this idea and investigate possibilities such as a land train, zip wire, cable cars, cliff railway, water slides and other possibilities for the beach area.
